Some Thoughts
ACT 26:32 is wonderful vindication for Paul, but before we feel disappointed or jipped, Paul's goal was not to get his freedom, necessarily. His top priority was to get to Rome. The trick was not if he'd go but how many hurdles he'd have to jump to get there (or at this point, to get going.) His plan was a one way trip, so as frustrating as two years in jail would be, this was one way, a last chance, to give his personal testimony to two Judean governors, king, and their full entourage.
